Six out of ten, surveyed by BtoB Magazine, said that they planned to launch new ad campaigns next year. This is only slightly down from 2007 when seven out of ten said they planned new campaigns.

A quarter said they planned to reduce their budgets, but online ad spending should do better than other media. In another survey, websites and search engines were considered the best places for gathering leads.

Wizzard will have its own brand channel that will enable users to access streaming video podcasts from the Wizzard Media Network. YouTube will run ads against the shows on the channel. The two companies will share ad revenue generated by the streamed podcasts.

Under the agreement, content from the network will be allowed to be incorporated into the Google AdSense Network. Wizard has also opted to share a percentage of these revenues collected with the show’s creators.

SVP of content development at Wizzard Media, Skip Fredericks said, “We are ecstatic to be partnering with YouTube in creating a Wizzard channel. This is a fantastic opportunity for our producers to expand their audience base and for our advertisers to be able to tie into the YouTube universe with targeted programming from the Wizzard Network.”

The publisher’s main focus is three editorial sites on video games, high tech and e-business, reports Reuters. M6 chairman Nicolas de Tavernost stated that the firm has planned a mid-sized acquisition in the Online “sector.”

The firm’s online offerings currently combine specialized sites linked to the Group’s TV channels, e-commerce sites including Mistergooddeal as well as community sites.

By using games and other engaging activities the site exposes users to financial concepts such as entrepreneurialism to help children understand how they can make a broader impact. The site was developed by Sapient Interactive, the marketing services group of Sapient, with assistance from Bain & Company’s Community works Team, Opportunity International and author of “One Hen: How One Small Loan Made a Big Difference,” Katie Smith Milway.

The book tells the tale of a West African boy who received a small loan to purchase a hen, which begins his entrepreneurial journey. The book is inspired by the true story of Reverend Kwabena Darko, one of the largest poultry farmers in West Africa. He is also the founder of the Ghanaian nonprofit Sinapi Aba, which is part of the microfinance organization Opportunity International. The book and the site were officially introduced at the Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club in Miami last week.

Milway stated “Microfinance is one of the best ways to help people in developing countries because it doesn’t depend on benefits trickling down from official aid programs, but rather on the resourcefulness of individuals. Microfinance is a particularly apt entry point for children into the world of international development, because it is based on practices that any child who has run a lemonade stand can understand. With the book and onehen.org, we now have a means to effectively reach and engage children worldwide. I’m hoping both will inspire kids and spur them to invest their lemonade stand earnings to help others reach their dreams.”

Beginning in May of 2008, children will also have an opportunity to make real donations to microfinancing projects through “virtual loans.” The site also provides information for donors and includes real-life success stories of individuals who have received loans from organizations such as Opportunity International.

TMZ will reportedly provide two to three clips a week to MySpace TV which have been previously screened on the celebrity news site’s TV program as well according to Reuters. TMZ will also provide MySpace with up to 15 clips a week that are not exclusive.

The gossip site launched on AOL in December of 2005 and has quickly become a top trafficked site with almost 11 million unique visitors last month alone, the report continues.

MySpace TV has branded channels from the New York Times, National Geographic and the BBC as well as other. The site launched a celebrity channel last month with Getty Images and People Magazine providing content. The addition of TMZ clips to the site, whose main demographic is the same as the new addition, will only improve the strength of MySpace TV in its effort to compete with YouTube.

The Bank Julius Baer & Co. said in papers filed in U.S. District Court in San Francisco that a disgruntled executive fired for “misconduct” stole the documents and illegally posted them on Wikileaks.org. The bank also said a number of the documents have been altered, but it didn’t provide details.

The site claims to have posted 1.2 million leaked government and corporate documents that it says expose unethical behaviour, including a 2003 operation manual for the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

The bank, based in Zurich, sued Wikileaks and its San Mateo hosting company Dynadot on Feb. 6, alleging the website had posted stolen and confidential financial data.

On Thursday, Dynadot agreed to shut down the site and bar Wikileaks from transferring the domain name to another host. U.S. District Court Judge Jeffrey White issued a formal ruling the next day. Dynadot officials didn’t return telephone calls Tuesday.

“This is akin to seizing all the copies of the New York Times, locking the doors and ordering the landlords not to let anyone back in the building,” said Julie Turner, a Palo Alto Internet attorney who briefly represented Wikileaks, but not during last week’s hearing in front of White. Wikileaks was not represented at that hearing.

Wikileaks said in a statement that shutting down the entire website — instead of narrowly ordering the removal of the disputed materials — amounts to unconstitutional “prior restraint” by the government of an entire publishing organization.

Wikileaks vowed to continue publishing the bank’s documents on its other websites hosted by companies outside the United States. Wikileaks’ website says it was launched by Chinese dissidents, journalists and others, but it’s unclear where the organization is based.

“The order is clearly unconstitutional and exceeds its jurisdiction,” Wikileaks spokesman Julian Assange said in the e-mail statement issued from Paris on Monday. “Wikileaks will keep on publishing. In fact, given the level of suppression involved in this case, Wikileaks will step up publication of documents pertaining to illegal or unethical banking practices.”

David Ardia, an Internet speech expert at Harvard Law School, said a court has never before ordered an entire website shut down over a document dispute. He said it struck a nerve.

“This is a prior restraint in the most extreme fashion,” Ardia said. “This is a judge who doesn’t have a good understanding of the Internet.”

The judge has scheduled more arguments on the issue for Feb. 29.

The company officially launched their licensed broker-dealer site BondStation in December of 2007 and unveiled their $200,000 multi-media advertising campaign for February and March of 2008. The plans include :15 and :30 second cable TV “teaser” commercials targeting investor-savvy groups as well as targeted online advertising.

Display advertising, SEM and affiliate campaigns on thousands of investment-related site will also be a part of the marketing efforts.
