			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img align="left" src="http://adotas.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2006/11/growth11.jpg" />Paid blogging service ReviewMe, which pays bloggers to post about other websites, products and services, has announced that it now has about 4,000 participating bloggers and has injected more than 200 paid reviews into the blogosphere.</p>
<p>ReviewMe, launched by text link advertising company TextLinkAds <a target="_blank" href="http://www.adotas.com/2006/11/text-link-ads-backed-reviewme-aims-to-rival-payperpost/">earlier this month</a>, requires bloggers to disclose whether or not they&#8217;re being paid to post about something, and doesn&#8217;t allow advertisers to influence a blogger&#8217;s opinions. TextLinkAds is a division of the MediaWhiz performance marketing company.</p>
<p>&#8220;Our writers choose what they find interesting, so chances are a product or service review is going to be well in tune with what readers of a particular channel like, which benefits both the advertiser and blog readers,&#8221; said TextLinkAds president Patrick Gavin in a statement.</p>
<p>The ReviewMe service requires bloggers to write at least 200 words about a product or service, and reviews don&#8217;t have to be positive. The service charges anywhere from $20 to $250 per paid post.</p>

The GoodyBag program will make its debut in NYC&#8217;s Times Square on a 32-foot by 38-foot digital video board and will feature national and regional advertisers. The board is part of the Smart Sign Media digital advertising network.</p>
<p>According to the release, the GoodyBag ad program is unique because it hosts multiple advertising messages in a single text word. Each time the word is texted, a different advertiser&#8217;s 145-character message will be sent to the texter&#8217;s mobile phone, offering a special &#8220;goody.&#8221;</p>
<p>The program&#8217;s premier will display &#8220;text &#8216;nycgoody&#8217; to: 78247 for Special Offers&#8221; and run as a five-second spot, 500 times a day starting in July. A sneak preview of the GoodyBag program is running this week until the 9<sup>th</sup> during the Mobile Marketing and Digital Advertising shows scheduled for the Marriott Marquis Times Square.</p>
<p>&#8220;This is a fun, affordable way for advertisers to participate in interactive marketing and offer customers a reward at the same time,&#8221; says Allison Gower, qtags president and co-founder in a statement. &#8220;More than 39 million NYC residents and visitors pass by the Port Authority digital sign each month, and the GoodyBag program gives companies unprecedented access to them at a fraction of the cost of traditional advertising.&#8221;</p>
