Yahoo has announced that its Yahoo Video portal will now include content from the Sundance Channel and ExpoTV. Now, users will have access to exclusive clips and footage from the Sundance Film Festival and will receive information on everything ranging from beauty products to cars from ExpoTV, which delivers consumer-generated reviews.

Jason Zajac, general manager of social media at Yahoo, said in a statement, “As a leading online video destination, Yahoo! Video is constantly looking for new ways to help users discover the universe of video content on the Web. By bringing the exciting, high-quality content of both the Sundance Channel and ExpoTV to our audience of users, we are continuing to make Yahoo! Video the most comprehensive online video resource on the Web.”

Through the Sundance Channel’s content, a range of filmmaking features from the Park City, Utah festival will also be accessible. Daily updates will also be provided in the following forms: Festival Dailies, Festival Filmmaker Profiles, and Compelling web-only footage. Clips shot at the Utah festival will be up for viewing, and biographies of the innovators behind the Sundance Festival and exclusive clips from series’, shorts, documentaries and films will be posted as well.

Christopher Barry, vice president of digital media and business strategy for Sundance Channel also commented on the new partnership, stating, “We are excited to work with Yahoo! Video to enable more viewers to experience the unique content and makers that are part of both the Sundance Film Festival and Sundance Channel. Online video is a rapidly growing medium for our audience. Working with Yahoo! Video allows us to extend their experience and expose our fans to more high quality programming while also reaching others for the first time.”

The ExpoTV component of Yahoo Video will include the following sections: Videopinion Reviews, How-to-Buy Videos and Product Demonstrations. Yahoo Video users will also be able to view full-motion videos, categorized by their specific areas, product type and interests.
