Under the agreement, Havas Digital agencies will become early adopters of the Media6° social graph targeting capabilities in order to integrate consumer insights with hyper-targeting and provide increased value for advertisers. In addition to promoting the adoption of the Media6° platform, the partnership will develop advertising solutions to leverage the value of “social graph” data.

“The partnership with Havas Digital is a pleasing validation of the value Media6° can bring to advertisers,” said Joe Doran, Media6°’s Founding CEO. “In a recent test, for every $1 dollar spent with Media6º, an internationally recognized travel brand recorded $48 dollars of transactional revenue. Media6°’s display media campaigns have outperformed even search by a factor of two to one.”

This collaboration will further Havas Digital’s development of its Virtual Brand Network for Advertisers. The Virtual Brand Network aggregates digital media inventory that meets the needs of a specific brand. It will also manage this inventory as a brand focused advertising network, buying and selling it in the marketplace to maximize the ROI of the brand.

Media6º technology uses no consumer or publisher data to map the social graph or deliver its targeting solution. The firm is a signatory to the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) guidelines on the appropriate use of data in online advertising.

– Express your opinion, comment below.

ADOTAS – In-text solutions specialists Kontera today announced an interactive advertising partnership with Microsoft and LinkedIn. Kontera will service contextually relevant reference information from Microsoft in ad units that will appear in LinkedIn’s “Answers” service for their IT community.

What that means: when someone in LinkedIn’s IT community asks or answers a question in LinkedIn’s Information Technology category, Konetera’s technology will mine the content of LinkedIn’s “Answers” section and then serve up ads for relevant Microsoft product links.

“Our core competency is analyzing Web content in real-time and having a deep topical understanding of its context and meaning,” Bryan Everett, senior vice president of Sales and Business Development for Kontera, tells Adotas. “It is this unique technical competency that enabled our partnership with Microsoft to utilize their TechNet database of content to serve contextually relevant answers to LinkedIn user questions.”

Kontera uses patent-pending text analysis technology to determine the actual content of any Web page to find the most relevant advertisements and information within the content.

“When we founded Kontera, it was clear to us that advertising was just one type of implementation for our contextual analysis technology,” said Yoav Shaham, CEO and founder, Kontera, in a release. “We are proud to serve as the technology enabler for a partnership with a technology leader like Microsoft and a new market innovator like LinkedIn.”

PaperClick provides the means for consumer-oriented companies and enterprise organizations to link their products and services directly to specific relevant Web pages on the Mobile Internet.
NeoMedia has entered the agreement based on Asia’s position as the recognized worldwide leader in accessing the mobile Internet. The company’s chief scientist and co-creator of PaperClick Kevin Hunter explained that, “Camera cell phones and PDA’s are omnipresent in China, clearly demonstrating how the country has embraced handheld-based mobile applications as part and parcel of everyday life for consumers and business alike.” Martin Copus, NeoMedia’s COO and head of its mobile business unit, added that, “China has the world’s largest cell phone market, with about one-fifth of the world’s cell phones and a million new subscribers coming on every month.” NeoMedia and Beijing Sino-U.S. Jinche are working together to find other partners who will bring PaperClick and other NeoMedia technologies to the Asian country.
