Doug Stovall is the President and Chief Operating Officer at Hipcricket, Inc. and has been in the mobile industry for 15 years. He joined Hipcricket in January 2009 as Senior Vice President to lead sales, client services, and the Company’s advertising network. In July 2012, Doug was promoted to Executive Vice President of Sales and Services, and named COO in July of 2013.
Prior to Hipcricket, Doug was the Vice President of Sales for Acuity Mobile, a location-based mobile ad firm, where he created and directed a mobile sales organization and implemented a corporate customer acquisition strategy. Doug was an integral part of the executive team that successfully sold Acuity Mobile to NAVTEQ, a Nokia (NOK) company, in 2009. In addition, Doug has held leadership roles at TeleCommunication Systems (TCS), Aether Systems (acquired by TCS), and Xpedior.
