Chartboost’s Creative Studio; Glever AI-Powered Apps; PostUp Ranked #1; Autumn Berrang Rauxa’s SVP Account Services

New creative service addresses $7.57B app install ad market by using machine learning and unique insights from history working with highly interactive gamer ads. App marketers’ conversion rates increase by 60%.

Chartboost announced the official launch of its Creative Studio, a new dedicated in-house creative team. Chartboost Creative Studio collaborates directly with clients to develop mobile branded video and interactive content, driven by detailed engagement data observed in every iteration. Using unique and specific target audience research and segmentation, the studio builds the right creative mobile ads for the right audiences. Brands using the studio can achieve an average conversion rate (impressions to installs) increase of 60%, and average eCPM improvement of 40% for a complete creative set.

New Interactive Ad Formats Drive Meaningful Engagement and Increase Installs
In order to reach new users, brands have become increasingly interested in interactive ads that not only showcase products but deliver compelling messages–encouraging users to take an action–and ads that measure results in real-time. According to an IPG Media Lab report, interactive ads extend the amount of time consumers spend with the brand, driving a 47% lift in time spent with the ad versus non-interactive ads. The same study also found that interactive video ad engagement is tied to purchase intent, driving nine times higher impact on purchase intent, as opposed to passively viewing a video ad. Interactivity in ads is especially important for brands looking to gain both awareness and installs for their apps. The global app economy will be worth $6.3 trillion by 2021 yet with so many apps struggling for awareness and new users, many brands struggle to cut through the noise, and most importantly increase traffic from qualified users. Not surprisingly, US app-install ad revenue is expected to grow to over $7 billion by year-end 2020.

Chartboost has years of data and experience working with top gaming companies to create tailored and playful ad units. Chartboost Creative Studio’s mission is to leverage that expertise and apply it across new verticals, such as food delivery, eCommerce and travel. The studio uses machine learning to create innovative designs that optimize for conversions and return on ad spend.

“We’ve been listening to our customers and we know brands not only  want, but need to increase their ad performance,” said Johan Lofstrom, VP of Chartboost EMEA (pictured top left). “That’s why we’re excited to launch Chartboost Creative Studio, where we’re now delivering the kind of interactive mobile ads with the in-ad data and retention rates advertisers have been looking for.”

Creative Studio takes the burden off  advertisers, by helping them outsource the creative process for their ads, from ideation to A/B testing. The studio team also tracks in-ad data to keep optimizing ad units. For instance, if a user doesn’t install an app after seeing an interactive ad, the advertiser is able to see their interaction path within the ad and detect drop off. This data is critical to fine tuning the messaging and ad experience to increase brand awareness and conversions.

“The Chartboost Creative Studio team was great to work with, consistently delivering unique creatives that we love,” said Camilo Fitzgerald, Futureplay Analyst. “Best of all we have 10x’ed our install volume on the Chartboost network.”

Increasing install rates is a major challenge for mobile marketing managers today. The goal is to increase the eCPM with the minimum cost-per-install (CPI) possible. Higher conversion rates allow advertisers to get higher reach and access to better in-app inventory, keeping the same price per user. According to Bosi LV, VP of acquisition at Heartbeat “…since working with Creative Studio on playable ads, we’ve increased our return on ad spend (ROAS) by 15%. We are excited to continue working with the in-house creative team and can’t wait to see more powerful, innovative ad types from Chartboost.”

Enables Users to Finish a Resume with Fingertip Clicks Instead of Typing, the pioneer in using AI technology to make resume writing simple, has launched free mobile apps in the Google Play and App(le) Stores enabling users to produce a professional-looking resume with their figure tips rather than a keyboard. (Click here to see the Q&A with founder, Xiaoxin Aaron Yin (pictured left).

The Glever apps first ask the user to provide his/her job title, and then start creating possible descriptions for the job. When receiving more hints such as skills used in this job, or one sentence describing the main responsibility, Glever can create more detailed copy, specific for what the user needs. It can even finish a half-written sentence As a result a professionally written resume with the right contents can be written in minutes instead of hours or days.

“Today most writing is done by typing the content letter-by-letter. Glever is trying to change that into ‘guided writing’, in which the user only needs to provide hints or guidance to the computer, which can write for the user,” says Glever CEO, Xiaoxin (Aaron) Yin. “With our new mobile apps, resumes can be created on the fly, nearly anyway, and customized for any upcoming job opportunity. The functionality is similar to, but lets users interact with AI generated suggestions on the small screen.”

The apps have accumulated more than 5000 installs since release about two weeks ago.  A demo of the apps can be seen here:

“Typing on a smart phone is not easy. Creating a resume on a smart phone can be a torture. It is already a challenge to organize your words to best describe your work experiences and highlight your strengths,” adds Dr. Yin. “With our new apps, just choose your job title and perhaps a few skills and Glever Resume Builder will write for you. You can easily mix your own writing with the suggestions from Glever, which can follow your writing flow and suggest suitable content to go next. In this way, you create a resume with clicks, instead of typing.”

Glever apps are a product of Resure Technology Inc, an AI company based in Santa Clara, CA founded by PhDs and engineers with decades of experiences in deep learning. The mission of Resure Technology is to revolutionize how business communications such as resumes, customer correspondence, inspection reports and insurance claims are written.

Study shows PostUp leading the industry with the highest frequency senders

PostUp, a leading email and audience development solution company, announced today that an analysis from Notablist, the competitive intelligence service for email marketers, revealed that PostUp is the world’s number one Email Service Provider (ESP) by campaign frequency.

Notablist conducted an analysis of 500,000 brands to gain an understanding of which technologies are favored by high frequency emailers.
