IPsoft, the leader in artificial intelligence, cognitive and autonomic solutions, today announced the appointment of Anurag Harsh (pictured left), a well-known business leader in the technology industry, as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
As CMO, Harsh will lead the company’s global marketing efforts across 16 countries, taking a primary role in accelerating the growth of the company’s groundbreaking AI technology including Amelia, the world’s most human AI. This includes global brand and market strategy, thought leadership, media and analyst relations, digital and linear programs, as well as market engagement activities to elevate the understanding of artificial intelligence and IPsoft’s pioneering role in it.

Harsh, voted one of LinkedIn’s Top Voices (#1 in Tech) most recently played a leading role at Ziff Davis, one of the world’s largest digital media companies, with brands that include PCMag, Mashable, IGN and Everyday Health, where, as founding executive he led the strategic development of the publisher from a privately held company into a multi-billion-dollar, public company, reaching over 150 million worldwide in 114 countries. Harsh has also led senior management roles with IDG, CBS and CNN. An alum of the Wharton School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he was a Sloan Fellow, Harsh is a published author of seven books, a contributing columnist to leading US publications with over 400 published articles, and a musician that has performed two solo concerts at the Carnegie Hall.

Aprimo Adds Mark Fera to Lead Industry Solutions

With over 25 years of experience with proven results across multiple key industries, including retail, lifestyle sciences and CPG, Fera will play a pivotal role in providing dynamic solutions that are tailored to each industry’s unique needs.

Prior to joining Aprimo, Fera was Executive Director in Ernst & Young’s Advisory Practice where he led the practice in bringing innovative solutions to market, with a focus on growing the consumer packaged goods and life sciences industries with Fortune 100 clients. Fera also spent nearly a decade with Accenture, where he held a number of solution management and client leadership positions with Fortune 100 clients. Fera earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Matt Knust Joins Aki Technologies as Regional Vice President
Aki Technologies, the moment marketing science platform, today named Matt Knust (pictured left) Regional VP of Sales. In this role, Knust will lead the Midwest sales team and bring the moment marketing science platform’s state-of-the-art consumer insights and moment targeting to a wide array of advertisers, including retail, CPG and automotive brands. Knust will be based in Chicago.

Knust has led sales teams for industry-leading martech firms, having previously served as the VP of sales at Conversant where he led CPG and shopper marketing sales. In his time at Conversant, he led a team that managed $19 million in sales. Before that, he was VP of Shopper Marketing Sales at MaxPoint, overseeing 25 sellers nationally. Prior to MaxPoint, Matt was a Group Sales Manager for News America Marketing, a division of News Corp where he grew the Midwest region to $37 million in sales.
