Q2 Leading Mobile Ad Categories & Sub-Categories

Positive Mobile research reveals the leading mobile ad categories and sub-categories for Q2 2016. Among the interesting points:

· CPG jumped from 34.5% in Q1 to 42.6% in Q2 – driven by Olympic sponsors’ advertising and other pre-Olympic campaigns.
· Home improvement led the retail ad category. It accounted for 35.3% of the retail ad category, up from 15.5% in Q1.
