MediaBrix announced the expansion of their operations to Europe, appointing Ryan Carter as Managing Director, UK to head up a new office in London. Mobile ad spend has been growing exponentially in the UK, and is expected to tower over £3.26bn, according to a report from eMarketer, which found that mobile ads now account for 20 percent of the total £16bn spent on advertising during the year. Additionally, adoption rates are expected to rise not only in the UK, but also across Europe, according to Juniper Research, which forecasts global mobile ad spend reaching $105bn by 2019, which will account for 44 percent of total digital ad spend. Prior to joining MediaBrix, Ryan was Agency Sales Director at Tapjoy in the UK and was instrumental in delivering consistent year-on-year new business revenue growth from the London agency market.
