Retail Tech Expert Darren Hitchcock Joins Struq as UK MD
LONDON, June 4, 2014 (ADOTAS) – Cross Device Retargeting leader Struq has appointed retail tech expert Darren Hitchcock (pictured) as its UK Managing Director. The role will be based out of the company’s London office.
Prior to the appointment, Hitchcock was Vice President of the UK-EU region at RichRelevance, where he grew the company from a regional start-up to consistent 70% growth over four years and successfully led its expansion into Europe. His success led the firm to a dominant position in terms of UK market share and involved the securing of major deals with retailers such as M&S, John Lewis and Tesco.
Hitchcock’s role at RichRelevance focused on omni-channel personalisation and he was instrumental in building the on-site recommendation platform that offers real-time dynamic conversations based on consumers’ browsing history.
Before this, he was Senior Solutions Consultant at Mercado, where he drove greater relevancy for retailers through site search and merchandising. The firm’s acquisition by Omniture broadened his skill set to include data and analytics.
