[x+1] Appoints Veteran Sales Exec Serpa As VP, New Business Initiatives

In this newly created position, Serpa is focused on building new businesses that expand on the company’s mission to make marketing more effective for brands by making it more relevant for audiences.
Serpa (pictured) has over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, product development, strategic planning and post-acquisition integration. He is the former EVP of Sales & Marketing at Engage121, a social media management application that integrates social channels and reviews sites for global brands, agencies, and organizations with local sales outlets. He also launched one of the first commercial online research firms, securing clients such as CBS, Viacom, Time Warner, Arbitron, MRI, and Modem Media.
