BONN, Germany, April 10, 2014 (ADOTAS) – The doo team today announced the launch of Scanbot 1.0 for Android. The app is now available for download in the Play Store. Scanbot for Android is a mobile scanner app for creating high quality PDF scans of documents (incl. multi-page), receipts, business cards, meeting minutes, whiteboard notes, newspaper articles etc. Scans can be emailed, printed, or automatically uploaded to the users’ favorite cloud drives such as Box, Dropbox, Evernote, Google Drive, OneDrive, Telekom Cloud, WebDAV and Yandex.Disk.

Scanbot features unique real-time document detection technology, which makes high-quality scanning extremely easy and fast.

Scanbot for Android sets great value on premium scan results. The quality is 200 dpi or higher, which is comparable to modern desktop scanners. In addition, various color modes, auto optimization and blur reduction help to get the best out of the users’ scans. Thanks to cutting edge scanning technology, Scanbot is blazing fast. Document edges are identified automatically and it takes only a second to scan a page and save it as PDF. With the integrated PDF editor documents can be edited on the go. Thanks to our proprietary signing technology users can easily add their signature without a pencil on their device.

In the first week after launch Scanbot is offered at an introductory discount price of 99 cents.
