SCBA Reports 2nd Consecutive Sell-out of Sales Training Classes

Los Angeles, March 14, 2014 (ADOTAS) – The Southern California Broadcasters Association (SCBA) announced today the complete sell-out of its spring 2014 Radio Sales Training Classes, set to begin on March 31. The sales training program, conducted by leading Sales Managers and Radio Executives in Southern California, is the only known Radio sales training course of its kind in California. The complete 10 week program is designed to cover every facet of Radio and Digital Sales and is focused on new and newer Account Executives, sales assistants looking to move up to sales, and individuals who are seeking a sales career in Radio.

“The SCBA is excited to have its second consecutive sell-out of our exclusive Radio Sales Training Classes,” said SCBA President Thom Callahan. “Our members clearly see the value of meaningful and sustained sales training for all the platforms Radio now offers. Our complete interactive training curriculum covers the most essential training programs including New Business Development, Strategic Selling, Building Client Relationships, Interactive Selling, NTR strategies, Cold Calling Techniques, and much more.”

“We are always looking to enhance the sales training experience and this season we will introduce the “SCBA Sales Training Hotline,” a toll free number for our students to call each week for additional consultation and coaching on all class material,” said Callahan. “Additionally, we are working on a series of special courses for the veteran Account Executive who wants continuing sales training skills, much like any professional seeking advanced certification and education.”

The SCBA Sales Training Classes are a collaboration of the SCBA and the General Sales Managers Council of Southern California. All course material and instructors are fully vetted to ensure a quality classroom experience that contains relevant, interactive, and accurate sales training content. Each class is monitored for content and execution with students completing an evaluation form after each class to ensure comprehension and satisfaction.

“With our real world sales training curriculum, new and outstanding instructors, and the great feedback from our students, the SCBA Sales Training Classes are quickly becoming a job requirement for anyone entering Radio sales in Southern California,” said Callahan.
