Tapad Launches International Division with ex-DoubleClick EMEA Exec


NEW YORK, February 27,  2014 (ADOTAS) — Tapad, the leader in cross-device marketing technology, has appointed Ben Regensburger (pictured) to the newly created role of President, Tapad Europe. He is charged with launching Tapad outside the U.S., currently slated to be formally established in the U.K. and Germany within the first half of 2014.  Regenburger is splitting his time between Frankfurt and London and reports to Tapad CEO and Founder Are Traasdahl.

With a mounting global demand for cross-screen technology solutions, Regensburger will make Tapad’s proprietary platform, Unify®, available throughout Europe.  Tapad’s platform facilitates unified, privacy-safe, cross-screen marketing for brands, publishers and other marketing technology companies.

Regensburger has more than 25 years’ experience in European media and marketing with the last decade spent focusing on digital media and technology. He was President of DoubleClick International (EMEA & APAC) until Google acquired it in 2008.  He then ran Google’s European media platform business and was on Google’s EMEA management board.  In 2011, Regensburger founded RollUp Media, a SaaS platform for content marketing and native ads. Before that, Regensburger held diverse brand manager positions at P&G, served as Chief Marketing Officer at Hugo Boss and held various positions at Lycos Europe, ultimately serving as Managing Director of Lycos Germany and as a member of its EMEA management board.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Tufts University and served as Captain in the US Army.
