LOS ANGELES, February 5, 2014 (ADOTAS) – Prodege, LLC (www.prodege.com) today surpasses $50 million in revenue in 2013 — nearly 30% percent year-on-year growth — and announces its expanded suite of C-level executive leaders. The company’s hallmark property, Swagbucks (www.swagbucks.com) — the web’s leading loyalty and rewards discovery portal — now serves more than 10 million users who have claimed $50 million in gift card rewards since its 2008 debut.

Prodege’s expanded C-Suite joins the team behind one of Los Angeles’ most successful bootstrapped companies, built locally from the ground up. Reaching profitability in its earliest stages, the organization now employs more than 100 staff at its new El Segundo, California headquarters.  Prodege’s portfolio of rewards, advertising, entertainment and distribution platforms will be unveiled throughout 2014 and now comprises one of the largest independent internet organizations in Southern California.

Over the last 12 months, the company has recruited nearly a dozen senior executives to oversee Prodege’s aggressive growth, strategic business development and position Swagbucks.com as the web’s largest rewards discovery destination.

Prodege’s expanded C-Suite include:

  • Executive Chairman Chuck Davis (CEO Shopzilla through its 2005 sale to E.W. Scripps for $562M;  CEO Fangando through its 2007 sale to Comcast Corp.; Venture Partner Technology Crossover Ventures).
  • Chief Financial Officer Brad Kates (CFO Shopzilla.com 2000-2012, CFO BizRate.com 2000-2012).
  • Chief Technology Officer Shane O’Neill (CTO Fandango 2006-2011; CTO Synapse Group 1999-2006).

“We have found remarkable talent to expand our executive leadership,” said Prodege CEO Josef Gorowitz (pictured). “Utilizing the collective expertise and insight of these industry veterans, we foresee a tremendous market opportunity for growth in 2014 and beyond.”

“Prodege’s fast-growth and profitable performance of Swagbucks.com has been done without ever taking outside venture capital investment,” said Davis. “I am thrilled to help drive the Swagbucks executive team to scale this property to new heights based on its substantial following and market strength.”

Prodege, LLC broke ground in 2006 with the vision of philanthropic giving driven through search-engine products. Following several white-labeled platforms for artists and brands such as Kanye West, Maroon 5 and the WWE, Prodege conceived of an all-in-one destination to reward consumers for their everyday digital activity. Swagbucks.com emerged in 2008 and is now the web’s leading platform rewarding digital activities such as search, shopping, entertainment, surveys and games across web and mobile.
