Facebook Execs on Mobile Ads: Size and Placement Over Quantity

ADOTAS — TechCrunch reports that Facebook CFO David Ebersman and COO Sheryl Sandberg discussed The Social Network’s mobile ad strategy in some detail last night at the Goldman Sachs Technology and Internet Conference.

Ebersman (pictured) was quoted as saying that users should not expect the number of mobile ads in Facebook’s News Feed to grow, as it did last year, but rather the company is paying more attention to ad sizes and positions as a means of “trying to find the right balance.”

Meanwhile, Sandberg boldly proclaimed that Facebook is “by far the best mobile ad product out there today.”
