LOS ANGELES, January 14, 2014 (ADOTAS) — AdColony, a mobile video advertising company headquartered in Los Angeles, has made two key hires who will be joining the company out of their growing New York office.
Sky Holden (pictured left) has joined AdColony as Senior Vice President of Advertising Sales where he is leading the company’s growing national brand sales team. Sky brings more than 14 years of digital experience and leadership to AdColony, most recently as a partner at Velocity Made Good, a rich media platform for tablets. Prior to Velocity Made Good, Mr. Holden held prominent roles at leading digital companies including 33Across, MySpace, iMeem (acquired by MySpace), Real Networks and Tickle.
In addition, Matt Barash (pictured left) was recently hired as Vice President of Business Development at AdColony where he’ll continue to grow AdColony’s premium publisher and media company partnerships across the mobile space. Matt was most recently Head of Business Development at SessionM, and prior to that he served as Vice President of Advertising & Audience Monetization at Forbes. Matt has also held key roles at Fox Interactive Media (Fox Audience Network), Traffic Marketplace, 24/7 Real Media, Discovery Communications, ESPN/ABC Sports and Conde Nast.
As of January 1, 2014, AdColony had 77 employees, compared to 44 on January 1, 2013. The company will continue to hire throughout 2014 to meet client demand and support its growth in mobile video marketing.
