ADOTAS — Videology has released its quarterly video ad index. The report and graphic summarize online video advertising trends across screens based on over 2.7 million online impressions from July – September 2013.

Q3 Findings Include:

  • Online Video Ad Viewing Increased 14%: The rate continues to grow as advertisers expand digital campaign strategies.
  • Advanced Targeting Up 19%: Advertisers are gaining stronger insights to match ads with customers.
  • Connected TV ads increased by 27%, signaling advertisers are continuing to embrace new channels and strategies.
  • CPG’s Rule Online Video Advertising + Other Segments Follow: Consumer goods remain the primary product advertised via online video (36% Video Ad Share), but nearly every other segment is joining the video ad revolution. (Telecom, retail, entertainment, education and auto all increased in share).
