ADOTAS — With so many high-level personnel moves happening this week, we’re spinning off a special Executive Edition of our industry roundup today.

Tapad, leading providers of unified cross-device advertising solutions, today announced the appointment of Michael Barrett (pictured) to the company’s Board of Directors. Barrett’s role takes effect immediately. He is based in New York. Barrett has nearly 20 years of experience in e-commerce, advertising, publishing and sales.  He most recently served as Yahoo’s Global Chief Revenue Officer with oversight of all of Yahoo’s advertising revenue and global operations. Prior to that, he was CEO of AdMeld, which achieved record revenue growth and award-winning technological innovations under his watch before selling the company to Google in 2011. Barrett previously held senior positions at Google, AOL, Fox Interactive Media and Disney Online.

Tapad also announced that effective immediately, John Cattarulla will serve as Regional Vice President of Sales – Southeast Region (Atlanta), and Brent Richey will be the Senior Account Executive of the Southwest Region (Dallas).  Tapad has opened seven new offices in the last 12 months Cattarulla was previously the Southeast Director for Specific Media and its subsidiary MySpace, and held senior posts Microsoft Advertising, Yahoo! and Alloy Media and Marketing.  He holds a BS degree in Architecture from Cornell University.  Richey joins Tapad directly from AT&T AdWorks, where he was Senior National Account Executive of Internet and Mobile. He has also held several positions at full-service marketing agencies including Moroch, TM, and PRACO.

Former Microsoft and Akamai Technologies executive Khan Smith has joined Vibrant Media, a global leader of in-content contextual technology, as Senior Vice President of Product. Over the last decade, Khan has become known in the industry for his keen ability to marry the evolving needs of blue chip brand marketers with the data and insights required to deliver rich, relevant advertising experiences.

Sociomantic Labs, a leader in intelligent display solutions for eCommerce marketers, has announced that Robert Bosch will be joining company in the newly created role of chief sales officer EMEA. Bosch will assume responsibility for driving Sociomantic’s revenue strategy in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He was most recently at Google Germany, where he steered the company’s agency business as a director on the German management team. Prior to Google, Bosch served as senior vice president of business development EMEA at Groupon. Before that he held a number of senior management positions at Axel Springer.

Evolve Media’s CraveOnline, the largest online male lifestyle publisher, announced today the appointment of media industry veteran Mike Bender as Senior Vice President of Sales. Bender joins Crave from Spin Media (formerly Buzz Media), where he served as Vice President of East Coast Sales. Prior to Spin, Bender spent three years spearheading East Coast Sales for Break Media, also as Vice President of Sales. Earlier in his career, Bender worked at ABC Television and Univision.

RAPP, the direct marketing/customer experience agency, recently added to its NY Decision Science team, hiring John Georgopoulos as Associate Director of Decision Sciences and Joseph Nowicki as Director of Decision Sciences. Georgopoulos joined the agency from Razorfish, where he was Associate Director, Consumer Intelligence. Prior to Razorfish, John spent more than two years at JP Morgan Chase as VP Strategy and Development in charge of digital insights. Nowicki worked at JP Morgan Chase Private Bank, where he served as Vice President developing and implementing Analytics and Technology solutions.
