SDL has today announced the appointment of Grant Johnson (pictured)as Chief Marketing Officer of SDL. Grant joins SDL from Pegasystems where he served as CMO for 3.5 years.  Pegasystems is a $460 million market leader in Business Process Management (BPM) and a leading provider of customer service and marketing automation software.  Grant is a hi-tech marketing executive with a proven track record building profitable businesses on a global basis, from early stage ventures to established billion dollar enterprises. Prior to Pegasystems, Grant was Vice President of Marketing and served as an officer for FileNet. Before that, he was Vice President of Marketing for FrontBridge, a SaaS-based email management vendor acquired by Microsoft. He also served as Director of Marketing for Symantec, with worldwide responsibility for the Norton brand.

GinzaMetrics, a leading enterprise search engine optimization (SEO) and content marketing platform, has completed updates to its robust offering, extending support to Chinese search engines Baidu and Sogou.  Baidu, Sogou and Google are now the default search engines for users selecting China as their website’s target country. GinzaMetrics users can track organic search, social, and content for their website(s) in any country, with the platform suggesting relevant search engines. LSN Mobile recently announced the company has raised $5 million in growth capital from Atlanta-based Fulcrum Equity Partners. The new financing will be invested in enhancing its advertising and product capabilities and continuing to expand its local media and affiliate network. Through partnerships with leading broadcast affiliates with major networks including ABC, CBS, NBC, and Univision, the company empowers media companies and advertisers to deliver messaging to local audiences on their mobile phones and devices, through mobile websites, mobile display advertising, text alert sponsorship, mobile marketing campaigns and more.
