Eugene Becker (pictured) has joined eXelate as Senior Vice President of Product Management. Eugene will be responsible for global product management and development of eXelate’s data and analytics products built to power more effective marketing decisions for agencies, platforms, and marketers worldwide. This is the second senior hire for eXelate in as many months following the addition of Khurrum Malik as CMO. Becker joins eXelate from WPP’s Xaxis division, where he served as VP of Analytics. At Xaxis, he established the analytics and audience strategy practices for the world’s largest agency audience buying platform. Prior to Xaxis, Becker was the SVP, Director of Analytics at MRM Worldwide, part of the McCann Worldgroup, where he drove digital analytics and built products that enabled channel planning, market mix modeling, and cross-channel dashboards. Before joining MRM, Eugene led analytics for a blockbuster franchise at Pfizer.
Advertising company DG is launching new tools on its DG MediaMind platform to manage multiscreen campaigns on mobile, video and desktop supporting both Flash and HTML5. The new features include: HTML 5 Factory (integrated authoring tool for HTML 5 rich media ads); MediaMind Video Ad Designer (WYSIWYG tool make to assemble interactive video ads); and updated DG Analytics for video and Smart Versioning (DG’s DCO solution).

SapientNitro has rehired of Jeff Collins as creative director, experience design, effective immediately. Collins joins the agency’s evolving New York office, where he will be responsible for developing and overseeing experience design capabilities. He will also help the creative department meld creativity with technology allowing the agency to tell always on, never-ending brand stories. He will report to executive creative director Christian Waitzinger. Collins possesses over 15-years of experience in interactivity for web, desktop, and devices. He also has background in visual design and communication and an expertise in design management and strategy. Over the years, Collins has worked with clients like Verizon, Rolls Royce, Barclays, and Hilton. Collins joined SapientNitro in 2004, previously working in the London office as a creative director. There, he managed design teams and worked with major corporations and technology ventures on the design of e-commerce websites, integrated multi-channel customer relationships, enterprise IT systems as well as wireless and mobile services. Afterwards, Collins began working as a client at UK Telco Orange as head of user experience for e-commerce.
