(OTCBB: AUGT or “Augme”), was selected by residential real estate development company SouthStar Communities for its lead generation program. The company is using Hipcricket’s AD LIFE® platform including mobile web, QR codes and SMS to attract and engage with potential new residents for its communities located throughout Texas and North Carolina.
SouthStar recognized an increase in website traffic originating from mobile devices and sought a solution that would deliver visually appealing and device-agnostic creative content. After a search, the company employed Hipcricket’s Mobile SiteBuilder solution with patented device detection technology that can recognize any mobile device and ensure that sites render properly. SouthStar’s mobile site includes a dynamically updated “specials” page, a photo gallery and click-to-call functionality.
In addition, SouthStar is using signage and out-of-home ads to advertise its mobile calls to action, including unique placements like drink koozies, airplane banners and t-shirts. The company is offering potential land buyers an opt-in loyalty club that it plans to use for re-marketing purposes. SouthStar’s future mobile plans include the build out of additional mobile sites, more QR code campaigns, hyper-local targeting through geo-fencing and a mobile advertising program.
