LOS ANGELES (September 24, 2012) – Quantasy, a creative services agency that creates brand experiences that occur at the intersection of entertainment, advertising, technology and culture, today officially launched. Quantasy is envisioned and led by CEO Will Campbell, a 10-year industry veteran with expertise in melding brand and consumer culture into meaningful interactions between the two.
Headquartered in Los Angeles, Quantasy provides a next-generation methodology to brand building that goes beyond traditional-thinking campaigns and instead focuses on conceptualizing and executing new ways to interact with audiences. As an “Idea Engine,” the firm emphasizes examining all creative perspectives to put its clients at the forefront of popular culture. Through transmedia storytelling, dedicated apps, branded-content, talent partnerships and new technologies, Quantasy offers a unique approach to delivering brand experiences that focus on tapping into the convergence of emerging consumer behaviors such as mobile usage, content on demand, sharing and second and third screen experiences.
“When it comes to brand building – entertainment, advertising, technology and culture should no longer be handled as separate entities by separate shops, or even separate departments within shops,” said Will Campbell, CEO of Quantasy. “The Quantasy model is built on generating ideas that will expand possibilities by reflecting all of these forces collectively, from the beginning.”
Quantasy partners with brand managers and C-suite executives across a variety of industries to create innovative multi-platform programs for Fortune 500 brands including Google, American Honda, Farmers Insurance and Wells Fargo. In addition to developing work for clients, Quantasy’s business model revolves around creating and launching its own original content and interactive properties. Currently, Quantasy is investing in multiple programs ranging from sports lifestyle to entrepreneurship. Also, through a unique joint venture partnership with leading West Coast advertising agency, Muse Communications, Quantasy has developed a co-venture studio, titled Lexicon, to create entertainment properties shaped for brand partners. Overall, the shop will develop new technologies and stand-alone entertainment, as well as handle sponsorship and distribution.
Campbell, who has spent the majority of his career driving interactive brand strategies for clients, brings experience in the deployment of advanced digital media platforms, including branded entertainment, content marketing, production, design and multi-platform technology for clients including Fox Sports Network and Best Buy. Campbell also brings a rich knowledge of the entertainment space through his work with companies such as Disney, Buena Vista Pictures and Universal Music on hits like the groundbreaking Cheetah Girls franchise. Campbell has been developing programs that influence popular culture for more than a decade. In addition to founding Quantasy, Campbell leads the digital efforts at Muse Communications.
At Quantasy, Campbell is joined by a stand-out team of executives with a deep knowledge in a range of disciplines including design, technology, entertainment, media and more. Danilo Roque is co-founder and technical producer at Quantasy, and has developed interactive solutions for Sony, Microsoft XBOX, and American Honda as well as held an executive position at Universal Pictures where he delivered premium digital experiences for its film properties. Hong Le, former senior engineer at Yahoo!, brings an integral skill set and exceptional understanding of software processes to create top-line technology for Quantasy’s clients.
