Kristen Stewart’s Safer than Emma Watson?

In spite of (or perhaps because of) negative publicity about her love life, “Twilight” actress Kristen Stewart attracted more visitors to websites than any other celebrity this summer, according to web traffic generator MGID’s latest Click Factor results.

MGID measures the Click Factor from the Internet user clicks generated via the MGID widgets that many thousands of online publishers display on their websites, with a total reach of 120 million people, according to a company flack. Other stars that made the list include Prince Harry, Justin Bieber and Megan Fox.

MGID Director Nick Marr will be addressing marketers and publishers on “How to Use Celebrities to Drive Traffic” at Ad:Tech London on Sept. 19.

Meanwhile, “Harry Potter” actress Emma Watson, who placed 6th on the MGID click list, is the celebrity most often used this year to lure web surfers to risky sites. Watson replaces Heidi Klum atop McAfee’s Most Dangerous Celebrities List, which measures which famous person is most likely to give you malware.

Not surprisingly, nine out of McAfee’s 10 most dangerous celebs are women, and searching for “free downloads” and “nude pictures” results in the highest result of risky sites. (Serves you right, ya perv!)

More from McAfee: Latinas occupy five of the top 10 spots on the list:  Eva Mendes, Selena Gomez, Shakira, Salma Hayek, and Sofia Vergara. The only male: Jimmy Kimmel (WTF?).
