Clash Group Acquires Coupon Comparison Website Vendari, Looks to Bring Similar Service to U.S.

ADOTAS – Digital direct response agency Clash Group announced today it had acquired European coupon comparison website Vendari. The acquisition gives Clash Group the intellectual property rights behind Vendari’s online coupon comparison offerings — the site collects coupons from a wide variety of sources — which Clash intends to bring to the U.S. later in 2012 in the form of a new set of coupon comparison sites.

According to a statement from Clash Group, this is part of the company’s extended process in broadening its services into what it describes as “full-service digital advertising solutions” both online and via mobile, and it’s looking specifically to reach users who have responded to ad inventory purchased through RTB. In the aforementioned statement, Clash Group CRO Tore Erickson said that the acquisition of Vendari stands to benefit “advertisers who are looking for an integrated, targeted campaign that can really drive customers through the door and present an increased ROI from their media spend.”
