ADOTAS – In the latest episode of the video interview series The Future of Engagement, marketing consultant and Influence People head Murray Newlands sits down with longtime tech reporter — and current publisher of Silicon Valley WatcherTom Foremski to discuss current issues from Foremski’s point of view as a journalist. Foremski talks about the segmentation of media and the importance that poses in building relationships with people (for anyone engaging in media), the ethical issues around paid or sponsored content (and how Foremski has seen, as he puts it, “agencies burning media contacts for silly reasons”) even while (as Newlands points out) ad revenues are going down, the benefits of “content curation,” and how anyone (from a publisher’s or a marketer’s side) can “cut through the noise.” Check it out below:
