Cyber Monday Projected To Be A Big One

ADOTAS – With the broken records of Black Friday, Cyber Monday is looking to be another big day for retailers. ComScore reported this weekend that e-commerce spending went up 26 percent on Black Friday, with $816 million in online sales, compared to the same day last year.

Online sales also increased 18 percent on Thanksgiving, with $479 million in sales. ComScore also reported online sales through Saturday went up by 15 percent, totaling in $12.74 billion.

Last year Cyber Monday sales topped $1 billion in 2010 and analysts at ComScore estimate this year could potentially hit $1.2 billion.
