Amobee and Barnes & Noble Using Mobile Ads

ADOTASAmobee, a mobile advertising company, and Barnes & Noble are teaming up to use mobile ads this holiday shopping season to drive online content adoption and sales. With the NOOK for Android Reading App, users can enjoy an immersive and easy-to-use reading experience with access to Barnes & Noble’s expansive NOOK Bookstore, one of the world’s largest digital catalogs of books, magazines and newspapers with over 2 million titles.

Magazine reading is easy and engaging with NOOK for Android on tablets. Readers can enjoy full-color pages in landscape and portrait mode, and Barnes & Noble’s exclusive ArticleView technology, which features only the article’s text, customized to the reader’s favorite style, on a central panel on the display.

“Mobile ads are a key piece of our media mix to reach new users this holiday,” said Eli Hurwitz, senior manager of digital marketing at Barnes & Noble. “It’s been great working with the Amobee team; they just deliver when it comes to mobile advertising.”

“Barnes & Noble is not only superb at bringing the best selection of digital content to mobile users, but they are savvy and creative in how they engage current and potential customers,” said Trevor Healy, CEO of Amobee. “It is great to see mobile advertising take the lead in marketing this holiday season. Reading has never been so festive.”
