ADOTAS – YuMe cofounder Jayant Kadambi is retaking the CEO’s chair as Michael Mathieu, CEO for the last three years, steps down but remains on the board.

BlueKai has added two c-level executive firsts: Jon Ingalls is the company’s first chief marketing officer and while Sam Wolff is the company’s first chief financial officer. Former Amazon executive Ingalls joined BlueKai with the company’s acquisition of TrackSimple, while Wolff was previously vice president of finance at Yahoo!.

Kurt Abrahamson is the new CEO at ShareThis as founder Tim Schigel stepped down but remains on the board. A former Google AdSense executive, Abrahamson was last seen serving as CEO at SocialMedia.com before it was acquired by LivingSocial.

Specific Media has named Scott Schopen, who was apparently instrumental in Specific’s acquisition of MySpace, as head of corporate development. Schopen has spent more than seven years at Piper Jaffray overseeing mergers and acquisitions, initial and secondary public offerings and private capital raises.

Banyan Branch announced the appointment of Jostin Darlington as director of social interactive. Darlington previously cofounded a boutique agency specializing in designing user experiences for major clients in music, gaming, telecommunications and professional sports.

Mitch Gelman has been named vice president of product at Gannett Digital. Previously, Mitch was a vice president at Examiner.com, and from 2001 to 2008 he managed operations at CNN.com as senior vice president and executive producer, guiding the news source onto several digital platforms.

Along with Pete Spande being promoted to chief marketing officer, Federated Media announced that Michael Gutkowski has been named executive vice president of operations.

Alexandra von Plato and Michael du Toit have been elevated to global co-presidents of sister agencies Digitas Health and Razorfish Health, respectively.

Alan Atlas has joined Scanbuy as chief technology officer and senior vice president of development. Since 2009, Atlas has been an agile development process coach for Rally Software.

Video advertising firm Extreme Reach has named Chris Lutz vice president of regional operations, putting him in charge of the New York, Los Angeles and Chicago offices. Lutz comes from Deluxe Entertainment Services Group, formerly known as Ascent Media.

Advertising agency Acento has named Donnie Broxson vice president of client services

In addition to promoting Catherine Williams from traffic manager to account coordinator, Jacksonville-based marketing firm Burdette Ketchum has hired Sharon Obeso as art director and Rachael Callahan as interactive designer.

Romance-related publisher YourTango hired Kristine Gasbarre as manager, content and branded media. Gasbarre was most recently a web editor for the lifestyle and celebrity news site LimeLife.com.

San Francisco-based media agency Mediasmith announced that Preston Bealle, a member of the board of directors, is joining the company as senior vice president and director of the New York office. Bealle claims to be the first director of online advertising at an agency, namely Poppe Tyson in New York.
