ADOTAS – Clearspring has gone mobile with its social sharing platform AddThis, which enables sharing to 300 services in 70 different language. Mobile app developers on the iOS platform can incorporate AddThis’ social sharing capabilities and track shares; an Android API has been introduced in private beta. Clearspring also announced that AddThis’ social sharing solution for online publishers is automatically optimized for the mobile web.
“As mobile access increases, publishers have struggled to fully understanding how their content is performing beyond the site,” said Clearspring founder and CEO Hooman Radfar. “AddThis is the one platform you can leverage to measure and optimize sharing behavior regardless of how or through what device users chose to share the content.”
In addition, Clearspring noted that its social influence and intent data, aggregated anonymously from 9 million unique domains using AddThis, is now available on the BlueKai Exchange. Earlier this year the company announced data partnerships with DSPs MediaMath, DataXu, Turn, Google’s Invite Media and WPP’s MIG, as well as Yahoo’s Right Media ad exchange.
Last week Clearspring introduced AddThis Live View, providing publishers with real-time data on sharing and clicks to view how social sites are driving traffic as well as on a geographical level.
In May Clearspring closed a $20 million Series D round of funding led by Institutional Venture Partners.
