ADOTAS – MSNBC Digital Network signed mobile ad server Mocean Mobile to a multi-year deal to manage, prioritize and traffic ads across MSNBC video content available on iOS, Android and Windows Phone 7 smartphones and tablets.
Mocean, a subsidiary of mobile ad network Mojiva, will serve display, rich media and video ads with content within apps and on the mobile web, including both live and on-demand video.
“We needed a platform that would enable our multi-channel offering of display, rich media and video,” said Kyoo Kim, vice president of sales and marketing at the MSNBC Digital Network. “We chose Mocean Mobile because they had a very sophisticated core mobile ad platform that addressed our business needs and advertiser demand that could continue to grow as we move forwards at an accelerated rate.”
In March, Rubicon Project picked Mocean to bring its REVV revenue optimization platform for publishers to the mobile realm.
