ADOTAS – Those of us in the digital ad industry are well aware that it’s a fluctuating space, but sometimes it takes a handy visualization to take in the (often mammoth) scope of change. Agency MDG Advertising was kind enough to put this infographic together focusing on the major shifts in the digital space over the last few years. There are three major ones: the move from channels to formats, fixed/static placements to mobile reach and outbound to inbound, the two-way conversation every brand aims for.

Within there are some poignant stats: mobile search and display will overtake SMS advertising in 2013, and mobile search is on a much steeper growth curve than display.
