Welcome Aboard: Resonate Gets Sharpe for VP of Marketing

bossADOTAS – Kathy Sharpe has stormed attitudinal targeter Resonate and taken the title of vice president of marketing. Sharpe most recently spent 10 years as CEO of Sharpe Partners, a digital agency that she founded.

As one of seven new employees recently added to the team, search retargeting pro Magnetic established Jonathan Penn as vice president of national sales. Penn was most recently director of East Coast sales AT&T Advanced Ad Solutions; his resume also boasts stints at AudienceScience, TheStreet.com and Microsoft.

Rodney Mayers is the new senior vice president of business development at Proximic. The 15-year industry veteran was last seen serving as COO for Adify.

Jumptap has named Regina Sebring as vice president of publisher prartnerships. Sebring was most recently vice president and general manager at AudienceScience. She also has served in executive roles at Advertising.com, ValueClick Media, Phase2Media and Disney Internet Group.

Revenue optimizer the Rubicon Project expanded its European operations with the addition of Julien Gardès in the Paris office. Gardès was last seen at 24-7 Real Media, but also led the French ad serving business unit and served as co-president of The Ad Serving Club (TASC).

Ari Paparo has been named senior vice president of product at AppNexus. Previously he was in charge of online audience measurement and ad effectiveness products at Nielsen Online. He also has done time on the product side at Google and DoubleClick.

Mobile ad network Mojiva added a slew of new faces: Jack Hallahan will head up agency and marketing partnerships; Tim Kelly will manage the brand advertising sales team; Pete Roper will front the brand advertising sales team in the eastern U.S.; Laura Buchman will lead business development; Tom O’Neil will focus on mobile ad sales and relationships in the Midwest; and Carrie Coffee will do the same for the Southwest.
