ADOTAS – Why, it just seems like yesterday that the Dealmap launched its mobile app with connections to 100 unique deal services. How the deal aggregator has grown — now more than 1.4 million consumers are using the Dealmap and its mobile app installs have surpassed 675,000. Also, its tripled the number of local and daily deal sites in its cabal.
In its latest feat, Dealmap just signed a commercial deal with Microsoft for its DealExchange to be primary provider of local and daily deals for mobile and web Bing properties. Microsoft joins 36 other commercial distribution partners — including CityGrid Media and Local.com — that collectively boast a reach of 85 million monthly visitors.
More than 400,000 deals are available daily on the DealExchange from about 300 unique local and daily deal services — including deal honchos Groupon and Living Social. In addition, more than 280 use DealExchange tools such as SDKs and its API.
Microsoft will reportedly continue to integrate Dealmap’s offerings into relevant areas of the Bing network.
