ADOTAS – Attitudinal targeter Resonate welcomed Sung Shin as vice president of product management and Elaine Harvey as vice president of software engineering. Shin, a 15-year veteran of the marketing and advertising software industries, most recently was in charge of product management efforts for comScore’s media planning products; prior to that, he was vice president of product management at TRAFFIQ. Harvey boasts 22 years in the software development game and was previously vice president of engineering at Parature.
Ad tech firm AudienceScience has a new man in a new position: Peter Basset will be the vice president of media transaction platform Connect. A two-decade veteran of the space, Basset was last seen at Glam Media, serving as vice president of platform sales.
Tim Mahlman is joining Turn’s executive team as its new chief revenue officer. Previously, Mahlman was vice president of network sales at Yahoo, a company he came to with the acquisition of BlueLithium in 2007.
Aircell, operators of a mobile broadband network for commercial and business aviation, has appointed Jim S. Berrien chief revenue officer. The 30-year business veteran, who has held leadership posts at American Express and Forbes, will be in charge of developing revenue-generating partnerships with advertisers, sponsors, content providers and e-commerce marketers.
Technology firm thisMoment has brought on four new crew members: Eric Del Balso, head of sales and business development, formerly founded Ignite Advisors and was a senior director in the Corporate Partnerships Group at Yahoo. New West Coast Vice President Chris Buchanan was previously a business development executive at Amazon. In addition to a five-year stint at Google, Tim Smith, the new East Coast vice president, previously held executive posts in sales and business development at SVnetwork and Dailymotion.
