skipping_smallADOTAS – Back in June, Loyalty Lab President Keith Rose introduced me to green stamps, the original loyalty marketing program in the ’70s — a decade in which I didn’t exist. Alas, the point of the article was that with sophisticated CRM technology and personalized promotions, green stamps look quite quaint in retrospect.

After reading that article, I was convinced the Loyalty Lab kids knew their business well — something that TIBCO Software must also believe as it acquired the loyalty management solution firm for $23 million in cash. The management team, including Chairman and founder Mark H. Goldstein and CEO Matt Howland, will be joining the TIBCO team.

Loyalty Labs’ software as a service allows marketers to easily design and maintain loyalty marketing programs from their desktops. The company boasts 35 clients, including large retailers, hospitality chains and consumer product manufacturers.
