Special Ops Cofounders Out as LBi Reorganizes

exit.jpgADOTAS – In March, digital agency LBi announced the launch of its brand in the U.S. with the integration of acquisitions IconNicholson and Special Ops Media. A little more than a half year later, LBi has formally announced that Special Ops cofounders Christian Anthony and Jason Klein, who were serving as U.S. CEO and U.S. co-president respectively, have departed the company during an executive restructuring.

Former U.S. COO Frank Pederson is sliding into the CEO’s chair while former IconNicholson U.S. Managing Director Judith Carr will switch from U.S. co-president to US President of LBi and Managing Director of the New York office.

In addition, LBi family member Syrup is being roped-in closer to align with LBi’s New York office, giving its clients a broader array of media planing/buying, SEM, SEO and social media resources. Robert Holzer has left his position as CEO, and Omino Gardezi will take over as managing director while Jake Daschek maintains his position of executive creative director.
