Welcome Aboard: Zoove Snags Gillepsie

bossADOTAS – Startup Zoove, which recently introduced StarStar branded mobile codes, has secured industry veteran Joseph Gillepsie as president and CEO. Most recently Gillespie was serving as EVP at CBS Interactive, where he headed up CNET.com, but left the company during a reorganization in February. Gillepsie boasts 25 years of experience in television, print and online.

Mobile ad network Millennial Media has named Matt Gillis senior vice president of business development and Eric Hastings senior vice president of engineering, a new position. Gillis boasts 15 years of experience with wireless software and content, and most recently led mobile game publisher Cosmic Infinity before it was acquired by Capcom. An 11-year veteran of ad tech, Hastings hails from AOL Advertising where he held the position of vice president of engineering.

Independent marketer Hawkeye has added Michael Carney as its chief marketing officer. The 26-year marketing veteran previously headed marketing firm DRG Worldwide; prior to that he was chief strategy officer at Protocol.

Video ad network AdGenesis has brought aboard Alec T. Coughlin in the newly created position of vice president of business development. Most recently Coughlin served as senior vice president of Worldgroup EXP at McCann Worldgroup; prior to that he was senior vice president at William Morris Endeavor.
