money_tree_small.jpgADOTAS – Rocket Fuel once again savored the sweet smell of fresh investor cash as the targeting technology firm left a Series B round of funding with $10 million.

Led by Nokia Growth Partners — with participation from existing investors Mohr Davidow Ventures and Labrador Ventures as well as new guy Northgate Captital — this latest investment injection brought Rocket Fuel’s total venture capital funding to $20 million. Noting that the company has grown tenfold since last year (and doubled its size between Q1 and Q2 2010), CEO and cofounder George John said the investor dollars will be put towards expanding both its market presence and team.

“We’re proud to be a company that has created jobs for more than 50 people across five states in the last two years, and we look forward to doubling both numbers by next year,” said John, who, along with Rocket Fuel President and cofounder Richard Frankel, previously led Yahoo’s behavioral targeting group.
