In addition to unveiling a new website, Get Satisfaction left a Series A round of funding with $6 million. Azure Capital Partners led the round while existing investors O’Reilly AlphaTech Ventures and First Round Capital also participated. Get Satisfaction plans to use the funds in building its team, speeding up product and market developments and sinking into strategic partnerships with digital agencies, CRM firms and distributors focused on small and medium-sized operations.
The company also announced two recent hires: Jeff Nolan as vice president of product marketing and Tony Pribyl as director of strategic partnerships. In addition to being an enterprise blogger, Nolan was previously vice president of the media and consumer group for NewsGator and before that CEO of Teqlo. Pribyl recently served as vice president of brand alliances at Mamapedia, and was also previously vice president of sales at Technorati.
