ADOTAS – In its growing bid to become the media-buying platform for the mid-sized guys, TRAFFIQ announced that MAGNET Global, a international collective of independent advertising and marketing agencies, has selected its media buying platform for the network’s member agencies. MAGNET, which boasts 800 clients across the globe and annual billings of more than $1.6 billion, joins the ranks of global agency networks Havas Digital, Worldwide Partners and TAAN, who all have use TRAFFIQ’s solution as their digital media-buying platform of choice.

— Of course, we already knew mobile alerts work a certain kind of magic on consumers, but a survey by Placecast and Harris Interactive shows that a third of consumers that receive alerts are encouraged by them to visit a store, and 27% reported that alerts will actually affect their decision to purchase.
