Wave of Acquisitions: Epic Grabs Social Suitcase, BLiNQ Snatches Lumpkin
ADOTAS – The IBM + Coremetrics deal might have stolen the headlines, but consolidation seemed to be in the air this week….
Ad network and social media marketer Traffic Marketplace, which was acquired by Epic Media Group along with Connexus back in March, is buoying its tmpSocial platform with the purchase of Social Suitcase, a social media monetization consultant. The acquisition will enhance the tmpSocial platform’s social media tools, targeting and distribution.
ASocial engagement advertiser BLiNQ Media, inventor of the cost per social action (CPSA) metric, has acquired media planner and buyer Charles Lumpkin + Partners, known for its talent in search marketing and performance-based media. Lumpkin himself will take on the role of vice president of media at BLiNQ. The acquisition is aimed at strengthening BLiNQ’s performance-based social engagement solutions.
