ADOTAS – Online video platform VMIX has given the captain’s chair to 20-year industry veteran Patrick J. Burns. The new president and CEO has a resume chock full of experience, including senior leadership and consulting roles at Ford Motor Company Finance Staff; Xerox; Bechtel, Brown and Root; the Maersk Group; and numerous startups.
Nina Taubenreuther has joined publisher platform The Rubicon Group as director of publisher development and general manager of the company’s freshly opened German offices in Hamburg. Taubenreuther previously served as director of publisher services at AOL Advertising and Advertising.com. On a side note, “Das Rubicon Projekt” sounds like an awesome undiscovered Krautrock band.
Weber Shandwick Founder Larry Weber has grabbed himself a seat on the Crowd Factory board of directors.
Quantcast has made the leap to the other side of the Atlantic, bringing on Philip Macauley as UK managing director. A 10-year Yahoo vet, Macauley last held the position of director of business development and commercial relations.
Expanding its Sports, Media & Entertainment practice, social media tech firm Buddy Media has brought in Matthew Flanagan as general manager. A ten-year industry veteran, Flanagan previously worked with various sports and media properties at DoubleClick.
Jason Danahy has become Centro’s latest asset as the regional director of Centro’s New York office. Most recently Danahy was vice president of U.S. sales at RockYou but also boasts a stint as online digital sales director of The New York Post.
