John Piccone reunites with an old pal as hops aboard Simulmedia in the new position of vice president of sales. Previously senior vice president of business development and sales strategy for Healthination, Piccone and Simulmedia founder and CEO Dave Morgan put in some face time at Real Media in the 1990s.
Well doesn’t Bruce A. Jaffe think he’s so fancy: the former Microsoft corporate vice president and MSN chief financial officer has been named CFO and executive vice president of Glam Media.
Pray for Rick Mirsky as he’s gone to the devil. OK, he’s just become vice president of sales and business development at Diablo Media, but I still worry for his eternal soul. Giving six years of service to Adperio building the network and agency might save him yet….
Beau LeMire and Jenny Nargi have joined the Centro team as West Coast account executives. Lemire was last seen working on out-of-home media at EYE while Nargi was previously manager of interactive for Freedom Communications.
Catalyst S+F has reeled in former VivaKi Ventures Executive Vice President and Managing Director Tim Hanlon as a Partner responsible for the firm’s venture investment and advisory strategies He will also serve as lead consultant on advanced media issues.
Clickable has brought five new executives with deep tech experience to the bridge: LexisNexis veteran Maia Benson as senior director, strategic partnerships; Google guy Michael Burken as senior director of business development; NetSuite compadre Don Craney as senior director of business management systems; Gary Liu, another Googler, as director of sales operations; and Yahoo! man Ganesh Ram as director of product management.
Entertainment publisher BUZZMEDIA has added some prestige to its advertising team with the additions of Aisling McDonagh, previously Eastern online sales director for Prevention magazine, in the role of senior sales director; Todd Dufour, formerly executive director of integrated and strategic marketing over at MySpace, in the newly created position of head of influecer marketing and talent relations; and Judith Heimowitz, previously manager of digital sales planning at InStyle.com within Time, and Mary Michael Marlo, former account director at Fanscape, both as directors of integrated marketing.
