Got Funds? Searchandise Commerce Scores $7 Million

money_tree_small.jpgADOTAS – Searchandise Commerce, which combines paid search with in-store merchandising practices, secured $7 million dollars in a Series 2 financing round led by new investor Madrona Venture Group. The funding will be used to expand both the sales/marketing and the operations teams.

Current investors Cloquet Capital Partners, DFJ Gotham Partners, Draper Associates, Inflection Point Ventures, Milestone Venture Partners and Wheatley Partners all opened their wallets as well. Searchandise previously raised $7.5 million in venture capital back in July 2008.

Searchandise’s service allows advertisers to place cost-per-click bids on various products and increase visibility on online retailers and comparison shopping sites.
