Burst Gets Down With OTP

skipping_smallADOTAS – In a move that will push Burst Media up the U.K. advertising network food chain, the ad rep, services and tech company has acquired British ad network OTP Media.

While Burst is sitting pretty as the 16th biggest ad network in the U.K., OTP is one of the largest British advertising networks, particularly focused on premium and stretched across verticals such as parenting, automotive, sport, food and entertainment.

“OTP Media shares our core value of championing online vertical content and the web publishers that produce it,” said Burst CEO Jarvis Coffin. “This acquisition adds to the value of what both companies can bring to U.K. publishers and the resources they can put to work for U.K. advertisers trying to reach engaged audiences online.”

Burst last stretched its ad network muscle when it bought Giant Realm in October for $2.1 million in stock and cash.
