LifeStreet Amplifies In-App Reach With SocialCash’s Network

app.jpgADOTAS – Is it getting hot in the in-app advertising space or is it just getting consolidated? LifeStreet Media, the largest social media network according to Compete.com, has acquired the ad network assets of rival SocialCash, a move it believes will be a revenue boon for app-makers and filter the choices of potential advertisers.

In effect, LifeStreet’s reach just got a lot more massive — according to Compete.com, it was already twice as big as the next largest player in the Facebook in-app advertising space. As of last Friday, SocialCash’s developers switched over to the LifeStream network.

But SocialCash remains a stand-alone company — and a refocused one. According to CEO Rob Jewell the company has an ace up its sleeve in the form of a new product to be unveiled later this year and wanted to concentrate all its efforts in that department.
