Developers in Mind, Millennial Acquires TapMetrics
ADOTAS – Giving developers the ability to more efficiently manage their application sales and revenue via a straightforward and well-organized dashboard, Millennial Media is acquiring mobile analytics firm TapMetrics.
Other TapMetrics features for developers that will be integrated into Millennial’s offering will include user interaction information,
feature and version adoption, device types, crash reporting and a competitive ratings system, as well as a buzz and review tracker.
Michael Avon, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Millennial Media, said TapMetrics shares his company’s approach regarding assisting developers across all platforms. “In addition, TapMetrics’ data and analytics capabilities complement our company’s own focus and development plans,” he added.
After being placed on top of the OnMedia 100 for 2010, Millennial released its year-over-year growth stats for 2009 last week, including a 756% increase in brand business and a 171% jump in performance. The mobile ad network boasted an 81% reach of mobile web users, with a 357% increase in Apple OS impressions.
