bossADOTAS – Dotomi has reeled in a big fish with the appointment of Ric Elert, a 10-year veteran of comScore and one of its original technology team leaders, to the position of senior vice president for engineering.

As executive vice president of engineering, Elert oversaw development and management of comScore’s global enterprise technology, which is scaled to support billions of online transactions, and managed theMyMetrix research portal, the company’s data storage platforms.

“By driving global technology and innovation at comScore over the last 10 years, Ric helped transform that company into an ultra-high volume technology-enabled leader,” said John Giuliani, CEO for Dotomi. “The scale of his accomplishments puts him into the elite of technology leadership. Ric will allow us to better service the high demands of our customers while building careers for our expanding engineering talent.”

At Dotomi, Elert will head up the software, data warehouse and quality assurance engineering teams. Also, if that wasn’t enough responsibility, he’ll oversee the information technology and technical project management groups.

Dotomi’s display technology makes every impression unique by giving advertisers real-time control over banner creative and media placement. Recently it introduced attribution technology that uses the company’s proprietary test-and-control methodologies to measure the effect of display advertising and value each media channel strategically.
