ADOTAS – MediaTrust has named Microsoft veteran David Coburn to the new position of head of product.

Gorilla Nation has added James Perry as director of sales for the Australian division, as well as Rob Reed and Andrew Knowles as senior account managers in that division.

KIT digital has formed an operating joint venture agreement with Latinstock Digital LLC, to jointly market products and services to clients in Latin America and throughout the KIT digital global network.

Doner has extended its relationship with MediaBank to take advantage of its web-based suite to manage and execute Doner’s end-to-end media procurement activities.

GetJar has taken home the prestigious Mobile Excellence Award for Best Mobile Service.

ZEDO has partnered with eXelate so that ZEDO’s ad serving customers will be able to access eXelate targeting data on 170 million unique users from within ZEDO’s ad management interface.

Right now, at the beginning of 2012, what are you watching the most closely for its ad and marketing opportunities?
Mobile. Smart devices have become standard, and advertising is only going to become more creative there.

Online video. It's a real competitor to TV now, and it presents really interesting ways to engage viewers.

Social media. The new Facebook timeline and the surge of Google+ have cracked the game wide open again.

Tempting as it might be, I don't want to get too involved in one aspect.

See, I think this might be a good time to see what would happen if we revisited MySpace, but made the ads slightly bigger... with more strobe effect.
